We're moving!

Well, tomorrow took a long time to get here, LOL! But after a very busy hectic spring, summer got started with a bang! We sold our 5 acres of land and bought a 6 acre parcel complete with house, garage and shop! We are SO excited! I will get a dedicated sewing space and a craft room/stash room. DH will have his shop, which won't be in the basement or taking up the garage, and we will still have 2 guest rooms for when the kids come home!
Now the work begins - PACKING! UGH! But, it will be nice to get things organized a bit while I pack. Hopefully, that will make the unpacking a little easier. Possession of the new place is Aug 16. It needs to have some work done to it before we actually move in, so I'm planning on moving for Sept 1. Then the clean-up/repainting of the house we are in begins so we can put this place up for sale.
No sewing of any kind is likely to happen till October :(

First ever blog post - what to say??? :)

Sunday night after a very busy weekend.  We took the time to watch a new Tv show with 3 dogs curled up at our feet. Amazing, the phone didn't ring!
Tomorrow will be another busy day. Mondays usually are. Many parcels to ship, banking to do, and then get ready to start our dog training class tomorrow night with the girls, Amy and Silver.
I've been trying to sneak into my sewing space every chance I get. I'm working at putting together a mystery quilt, from Quiltville. It's been a great 8 weeks with clues coming every Friday. I didn't manage to keep up, didn't expect to, but I did get more done than I thought I would. Still have a long way to go, tho. I may add some design changes now that I've seen the final results.
Guess the next thing I need to learn is how to post pictures on here. hmmm... there must be instructions somewhere. Lots to learn in the world of blogging. More tomorrow.
